When it comes to a holiday like Halloween, it’s always about taking last year’s costume to new heights. Try out some of these awesome costume ideas featuring iconic video game characters. With a new Tomb Raider film in the works featuring Alicia Vikander, a Lara Croft costume simply can’t be beat.

Style with a sleeveless latex top in teal and tons of leather gun holsters. Add a pair of sunglasses and a french braid to complete the famous look. For another version of her costume, go for slim fitting latex catsuit. For a look that’s dangerous and sultry, go for a cut-out green bodysuit like Jade or blue two piece just like Kitana from Mortal Kombat. Or, go for a fierce look like cosplayer Anya Ichios, who slayed in a latex version of Blood Rayne.

Action-packed and a fan favorite, Assassin’s Creed is another top pick to create cool, edgy cosplays. Layer a leather tunic over a peasant blouse for a look that fits the time period, and add leather bracers for a neat finish. Or, go for a full on version of the costume with a loose fitting top and leather accents.

To get the finished look, make sure to keep your hood up to nail the character’s aura of mystery. The live action film of Assassin’s Creed, led by Michael Fassbender, is set to release on December 21, 2016.
