Latex Adhesive

I was asked what type of glue you make for the latex. Is it water based? I was told that if it is, it will fall apart when washing in water to clean it. I just ordered some, and it didn't come with any instructions on the can. I also wanted to know what is the best method for glueing the seams. It curls over and is a real pain to work with. Am I doing something wrong?

The curling is normal, there is not much you can do about it except get used to it and practice.

The adhesive is solvent based and washing with water shouldn't be a problem as long as it is dry and accurately applied.

Be sure to really roll down on your seams to get the seams to stick well and get any air bubbles out!

I use masking tape on latex thinner than 0.3mm especially on 0.2mm on the other side of the latex before i apply the solvent base glue. it still curls a bit, but not so badly.

When it has dried a bit it flattens out again.
