I was wondering what the difference between latex sheeting and pvc fabric were? They seem like the same thing - can someone please explain what the differences are between them?

Hi, I am a furniture manufacturer and we make a furniture for the hospitality industry. The dining chairs need fabric and they ask for latex backing. I want to understand what it is used for and how can I get this done?
